SW8 East 72kV – Structure Replacements

Scope/Description:

• Replaced 99 tangent H-frame structures, and 1 double deadend structure with direct embedment foundations
• Replaced existing OHSW and install additional shield wire
• Established winter access construction and performed snow maintenance on ROW

Highlight:

Due to the condition of the line, all work was completed under energized conditions using hot stick methods.
