Spray Lakes Rebuild – 25 kV

Scope/Description:

  • Rebuild 2.1km of distribution line feeding from the Spray Lakes Power Plant that runs up the mountain side
  • New construction for 7km of 3/0 distribution line
  • Structures built in steep rock mountain conditions that required blasting, drilling, and crushing rock

Highlight:

Work was completed in compliance with Provincial Park environmental regulations. Built in 1951, the Spray hydroelectric facility generates an average of 210,000 MWh annually.
