Scope/Description:

• 10 steel lattice towers, 56 steel pole structures
• Single circuit, 2-bundle, 1033 Curlew ACSR
• Precast concrete footings, concrete mat foundations, concrete anchors, rock anchor foundations, and helical pile foundations
• Access for the project was almost 100km from the ROW
• Nelson River crossing towers are 300’ structures
• Construction activities required frozen ground conditions due to creek crossings
• Work was completed during extreme cold weather (-45C), sever snowstorms, windstorms, and snowfalls

Highlight:

At the time of project completion this project’s Nelson River crossing was the longest span in Manitoba.
