  • 4-bundle 1590 Falcon ACSR with OPGW, and OHSW
  • Helical piles (by others), concrete caissons, and shallow concrete foundations
  • Helicopter and conventional crane erection
  • ROW preparation: brushing and clearing, and environmental and construction matting

The Western Alberta Transmission Line was Alberta’s first in-service direct current (dc) line transmitting electricity on the power grid.
